Printable Numbrix Puzzles and Games
Numbrix rocks! It's all about having logic and problem solving skills! Being able to think out of the box so to speak.
The rules are fairly simple, within a given grid you have to connect numbers either horizontally or vertically. The starting and finishing numbers are given in circles and most puzzles come with clues. The rules are almost the same as with the famous Hidato game with the most important difference that diagonal moves are not allowed.
The game seems very easy, but is very challenging. This puzzle will test your intelligence to the max. Our students surely love the Numbrix and Hidato puzzles and we feel that the Numbrix game enhances maths skills!
Teachers (or parents) can use the puzzles as math activities, warmers, positive reinforcements, etc...
Now you can finally find the Numbrix puzzles completely free and printable.
Go to www.mathinenglish.com/numbrix.php for the printable form of the Numbrix game and many other fun puzzles, math riddles, videos, math materials and video games.

New printable Kakuro Addition and Multiplication puzzles
We have added quite a number of great Kakuro math puzzles to Math in English today!
Our students just love to do them in class and whether you teach the lower primary levels or the higher levels: they'll just love 'm.
For the lower primary math students it actually enhances their addition and multiplication skills (print out the easier puzzles), whereas for the more advanced students the focus will be more on problem solving and logic skills (print out the more advanced puzzles).
Kakuro is all about filling blocks of cells with number clues with the numbers 1 to 9 . In each block you can only use a number once,so no doubles here! Our puzzles come with answers and are free and printable for your use in the classroom, or at home.
We advice teachers to give Kakuro puzzles as homework rather than 'boring' worksheets with addition and multiplication exercises. Your kids will study with a smile and learn to love math.
We have even used the puzzles as remedial and tutoring materials for kids who just plainly disliked maths! Needless to say that they loved the Kakuros!
So, print our math learning materials , use them and teach/learn math in a fun way!
You can find them here: Math in English Kakuros.

Cool math word puzzle
If Peter and Debra would share 6 candies, they would get 3 candies each! How many candies will they get, if they would share 8 candies?
This is a very nice grade 1 and 2 math word problem. Students have to group a number of candies and divide them by 2 people. Seems simple, but for the little ones quite a challenge. You could of course expand this problem and throw in 10 candies, 12 candies, etc...
With 1 math word problem teachers can tackle the entire table of 2. We found this excellent math puzzle online. Students have to calculate how to divide groups of candies and once done will have to find the outcomes in a word search.
This is what we call fun math material. You can find loads of similar math worksheets on www.mathinenglish.com.
